History of Pasha de Cartier
The story of Pasha de Cartier is originated from 1932. Thami El Glaoui wanted Louis Cartier to customized make a wristwatch that can bring at formal occasions. What’s more, it must be water resistant and he didn’t have to take if off when swimming. With the power of Louis Cartier, the prototype of Pasha took shape. The earliest model of Pasha that we’ve seen is a special model in 1940s.
In 1980s, inspired by the historical Pasha, Gerald Genta designed the brand new Swiss Pasha de Cartier copy watches, which have shocked the whole watchmaking industry.
