The creations of Cartier London’s workshop in the 1960s and 1970s are among my favorite watches ever made, flat out. The man behind all of this was Jean-Jacques Cartier. He assumed the position of his father, running Cartier London, after WWII, and by the early 1960s, decided to start producing wristwatches in London rather than continue to import Paris-made pieces. The CA perfect replica watches were made by hand, one by one, and the designs are uniquely “Swinging Sixties” London – think Maxi Oval, Crash, Pebble, and so on.

Dialing into this particular Cartier London example, it is a Tank LC (or, if you want to be very specific, a Tank JJC for Jean-Jacques Cartier) in a “small” size that is the “smallest” offered by this branch of top copy Cartier watches. Not quite as small as the 23mm by 15.5mm “mini” that came out of Paris in 1969, the London small measures 26mm by 19mm, fitting in the undersized bucket without being so much of “a look.”
Coming up for auction in its birth city, this one caught my eye because of the bracelet. Any best fake Cartier watches are rare and interesting, but on a bracelet, that’s really special. I am reminded of a Maxi Oval – on a bracelet – which sold at Phillips last year for $279,400, and that was present a few weeks ago at the Miami Beach Antique Show in the booth of Davide Parmigiani. This CA cheap super clone watches also sparked a memory in my mind as I have seen a London LC on this bracelet before. In December of 2023, Christie’s offered a “large” version of this same watch, which ended up selling for $47,880.

This Swiss made replica Cartier Tank watches are lot 54 of the Watches & Luxury Items auction by Roseberys London on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, at 5 am ET.
